Fatehabad, situated in Haryana, India, serves as both a town and a municipal council within the Fatehabad district. The 14th-century Fatehabad Fort, constructed by Firoz Shah Tughlaq and named after his son, houses the tomb of Meershah Peer, Firoz Shah’s spiritual mentor. Within lies Humayun’s mosque, showcasing a lower section of an Ashokan pillar, towering 15-16 feet, adorned with a five-inch marble strip known as Feroz Shah ki Lat. Believed to be sourced from Agroha Mound, its lower part resides in Lat ki Masjid at Hisar.
