About Hanamkonda
In the Indian state of Telangana, Hanumakonda is a large city that serves as the district center for the Hanumakonda district.Formerly, Hanumakonda was a distinct city; today, it is referred to as one of the three urban centers known as Tri-Cities, together with Kazipet and Warangal. National Highway 163 connects the three cities.
History
For countless centuries, Telangana was shaped by the great monarchs of the Kakatiya dynasty. The Thousand Pillared Temple and the renowned Warangal Fort. It has been discovered that Warangal was not the original capital of the Kakatiya Kings; rather, for reasons that are still unclear, the capital was moved there. A king could find it strategically advantageous to govern his dominion from the Warangal hill fort. A short distance to the north of Warangal is Hanumakonda, sometimes known as Anmakonda, which may be the old Warangal suburb. Prior to moving the new capital to Warangal under Ganapati Deva’s rule, Hanumakonda served as the Kakatiya rulers’ ancient capital.
Climate
Hanumakonda has a hot, dry climate because it is situated in Telangana’s semi-arid zone. March marks the beginning of summer, which lasts until mid-June. June marks the start of the monsoon, which lasts until September. Winter lasts from the middle of October to the beginning of February.
