In the Indian state of Chhattisgarh, the town and municipality of Kawardha are located in the Kabirdham district. It is the Kabirdham district’s administrative centre. Another notable feature in Kawardha is the “Temple of Bhoramdeo.” Mohammed Akbar of Congress is the Kawardha Legislative Assembly member.
