Tawang, situated in Arunachal Pradesh, is the administrative hub of Tawang district. It was once the capital of the Tawang Tract, now divided into Tawang and West Kameng districts, with Tawang serving as the former’s headquarters. Known as the top tourist destination in Arunachal Pradesh, Tawang boasts a unique administrative structure consisting of three sub-divisions: Tawang, Lumla, and Jang. These sub-divisions encompass ten administrative centers.
