About Medak

One of Telangana’s western districts, Medak, is roughly located between latitudes 17°27′ and 18°19′ north and longitudes 77°28′ and 79°10′ east. The district’s borders are as follows: Karimnagar and Nizambad to the north; Warangal and Nalgonda to the east; Rangareddy district to the south; and Karnataka State to the west. Physiography

The district is situated between 500 and 600 meters above Mean Sea Level (MSL) on average.
